symptom: System error 5 has occurred. Access is denied.
1) The drive/directory where the Oracle software is installed does not have the
permissions granted to the OS SYSTEM account. Therefore when the Oracle service
is started (as the system account by default) you will get the error...as the
system account does not have any permissions on this drive/directory.
2) OS user trying to start the services does not have permissions on the Oracle
Either at drive level or directory level grant the full control permissions to
the SYSTEM account or alternatively to everyone, if this is possible.
after node reboot, agent service and agent started automatically, but emctl status agent was showing:
C:\Users\Oracle.Admin\Desktop>emctl status agent

we granted all permissions and now emctl status agent shows "Error opening logfile for output in nmeula_new"
It's a very strange behaviour that after reboot we lost permissions on FS...
Exept for error shown, the agent works fine.
What's nmeula_new?...where is this file?
I am afraid I am out of ideas
