We have a 64-bit Windows server 2008. There are two applications running on it. One requires a 64-bit oracle client and the other requires a 32-bit Oracle client. So I have installed the 64-bit client with Home1 as home in c:\oracle\client1 as the folder. I created the 64 bit DSN and the app1 works fine. So now I installed the 32 bit client with Home2 as Home in c:\oracle\client2. Now I go into c:\windows\syswow62\odbcad32.exe to create the DSN. As soon as I select home2 as my driver my ODBC administrator crashes with this signature:
Can I install both 32-bit and 64-bit clients on same box? If so what caused this error? BTW I am using 10203_vista_w2k8_x86_production_client and 10203_vista_w2k8_x64_production_client as my client install packages.
