Oracle RAC 10.2.0.4 and Solaris 10 iSCSI

hxmanAug 9 2010 — edited Aug 11 2010
We are deploying RAC 10.2.0.4 Standard edition using ASM as the storage manager on Solaris 10 (sparc). Storage will be provided via iSCSI.

The following document does not mention if iSCSI is supported:

http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/database/clustering/certify/tech_generic_unix_new.html

I have found other docs on Sun's site that do show deployments using iSCSI.

Does anyone know of any Oracle docs that show the supported matrix for RAC 10.2.0.4 using iSCSI on Solaris 10.

Thanks

Hi,

Oracle RDBMS /Clusterware works with iSCSI. To be precise it is Solaris that needs to support iSCSI.
