Maps are stored in the table tDataMap.1 person found this helpful
If you can export the contents of that table from your working environment, you can truncate the "broken" environment table and then import the maps. This assumes that you are able to export the maps from the working environment to Excel.
The maps are not necessrily corrupted, what has occured most likely is a reserved database character was imported with a mapping template into the tdatamap database table. Once a reserved database character has been imported into the database table the delete, delete all, and dimension change functionality will not work until the reserved datbase characters have been removed from the database table. You will want to have your dba view the tdatamap database table and remove any reserved database characters such as &,@,', etc.1 person found this helpful
