Profiling Problem

I'm using Netbeans IDE 6.5.1 profiler. Each time I run Profiler Task : CPU, I get different times for my methods. Is there a way to get stable time? Do the process running on my pc, tangle with the profiling?

    How different?

And no, you can't get stable time. There's no way that a method would always take a certain amount of time (except maybe on specialized custom embedded platforms?).

And you don't need to. You can time it 10 times and calculate an average.

See the previous answer, but yes, you shouldn't profile on a machine that has other processes that are causing noticeable load.
