Java 6 jmap isn't showing shared objects loaded (ie Solaris pmap output)

With Java 5.0 the jmap command by default prints a list of shared objects loaded.

But with Java 6 jmap by default is showing the heap information ( ie running jmap with no argument produce the same output as jmap -heap). I tried this with 1.6.0_04 on 32-bit and 64-bit linux.

Is this functionality of jmap still supported on Linux in Java 6?
