Noob question about integration of existing web application with SOA suite

    801799
      Hello

We have a web application that manages custom workflows and queues for the provisioning of products. We would like to migrate parts of the application like the business processing and interfaces to the SOA suite Nevertheless, we want to maintain the GUI part of the application as it is used by thousands of users. The organization already have the Oracle SOA Suite 10g.

Is it possible to create an integration with between the client app and the BPM? The idea is for the client app to present state of processes, activities and queues as they are managed in the BPM.

I am sure this is a very basic question but could I also be pointed to the adequate documentation?

      Thanks

          Hello Leslie,

Yes this is possible, BPM, as well as BPEL, allows you to request human tasks and those tasks can be triggered outside the BPM inbox or BPEL worklist webapp, I recommend you start by taking a look at the followind docs: Oracle® Fusion Middleware Modeling and Implementation Guide for Oracle Business Process Management http://bit.ly/aWtCjc and the Oracle® Fusion Middleware Developer's Guide for Oracle SOA Suite: http://bit.ly/doTC4C

          Good luck,

          Vinicius
