How many records arebyou talking about?
It may happen due to the discoverer restriction.
Make sure you get all the records in the discoverer.
Also, try to export to CSV instead of XLS.
Pl post details of versions of Discoverer and Excel. How do you determine that not all rows are exported ? Are there any error messages ?
i forgot to mention, im using the command line
dis51usr.exe /connect useri:"Discoverer Reports"/password@oracleserver /open "D:\OracleReports\reportname.DIS" /sheet ALL /export xls reportname.xls /batchs
there are serveral worksheets, and its one paritucular worksheet, which has over 100 records. the export stops at 100 records
increased the rowlimit options in discoverer to over 1000
Maybe your Local PC virtual memory is not big enough so it cannot perform the job.
Try to export only this worksheet using the command line rather than all the workbook and see what you get.
Also to verify this theory you may try to export another "big" workbook and see if it works or not.
you can find the virtual memory settings by right clicking on "my computer->properties-> advanced->performance settings"
go to the "advanced" tab and on the lower part you should see the virtual memory definitions.
