OSGi framework as (Windows) service? (Apache Felix)

We have a Java application running as a Windows service. I played around with the Apache Felix OSGi implementation. OSGi framework is startet as "java -jar bin/felix.jar" and there is a shell for deploying bundles. One of our requirement is, that the application still needs to run as a service, so I wrote a little application that runs as a service and starts the felix framework. I can see in the log file, that the felix framwork has startet. But now, how can I deploy an application? As a service, I don't have a gui or a shell. Is there some kind of plugin for this? Or are there otjer OSGi implementations that can be run as a system service?
