The article I told about follows this link:
What happened whe you tried it?
I really find it incredible when people waste time on forums asking questions they could test for themselves, thus (a) saving time and (b) getting the right answer.
Thanks for that great response!!!
I tried it with the actual packager like it's described in the ActiveX Bridge Developers Guide for the actual JRE-Version:
For this tool it is only possible to register the DLL-file in the JRE/activex/bin directory.
So my question was if there's another way for the actual JRE-Version to make it possible to register DLL-Files in a user
specified directory, maybe with a different tool.
Because with the normal packager.exe it's NOT possible!!!!
I wonder what the -out <output-directory> parameter can possibly be for.
-out specifies the location of the generated dll-file. But if this directory is different from
JRE_HOME/activex/bin it's not possible to register the DLL at registry.
I really find it incredible when people waste time on forums answering questions they have no idea about, thus (a) helping nobody and (b) giving the wrong answer.
