    JACOB ComFailException with Eclipse

    843804
      Hello,
i'm new to Jacob and i've searched for an answer for my problem in various forums, but didn't find one, that helped me.

I use Eclipse Version 3.4.0 and I downloaded JacobGen Release 0.10 and installed this plugin.
I also downloaded jacobBin_17 and integrated its jacob.jar into my project. I also copied the jacob.dll of jacobBin_17 into the project folder.
Now I get a com.jacob.com.ComFailException, that looks like this:

com.jacob.com.ComFailException: A COM exception has been encountered:
      At Invoke of: Version
Description: An unknown COM error has occured.
           at com.jacob.com.Dispatch.invokev(Native Method)
           at com.jacob.activeX.ActiveXComponent.getProperty(ActiveXComponent.java)
           at jacobtest.DispatchTest.main(DispatchTest.java:14)
Exception in thread "main" com.jacob.com.ComFailException: A COM exception has been encountered:
      At Invoke of: Quit
Description: An unknown COM error has occured.
           at com.jacob.com.Dispatch.invokev(Native Method)
           at com.jacob.activeX.ActiveXComponent.invoke(ActiveXComponent.java)
           at jacobtest.DispatchTest.main(DispatchTest.java:35)

Does anyone have an idea, why this happens?
