VM Initialization error
Jun 17, 2010 10:44 PM
Getting this error:
Error occurred during initialization of vm
Could not reserve enough space for object heap
The JVM could not be started. The main method might have thrown an exception.
I have searched through the threads and tried the -Xms command, however, it only gives me a list of commands/help guide and nothing ends up happening. Anyone know what may be the problem?

What exactly you are trying to launch? What is JNLP file or command line?
And how much free memory your system has at the time you are trying to launch?
-Xms alone does not mean anything. You need to provide some value, e.g. -Xms128m
Note that it is setting initial size, so i do not see how this could help to solve problem.
