Rman Stores the logs in the path specified by the user while taking the backup.If the log option is not specified then RMAN stores the log file to standard output.
11g, where is RMAN logs to trace and troubleshooting?No where, you can only see them on standard output (you screen).
If you want to log all the operations you performed on RMAN, use following when you connect to RMAN
rman target sys@mydbt log=d:\rman.log

If you don't have logs take a look at V$RMAN_OUTPUT in 10g+
Oracle Database do generate the logs for RMAN and you can find the same by using the following query
set lines 200
set pages 1000
where session_recid = &SESSION_RECID
and session_stamp = &SESSION_STAMP
order by recid;
all you need is SESSION_RECID and SESSION_STAMP,and you can get them from the following query
select session_recid,session_stamp from v$rman_status where start_time like '12-FEB-13';
(change the date according to your needs for which you want to see the log)
