    javac can't find netscape.javascript THO classpath has plugin.jar - help!

      Hi! I am trying to compile a Java project under Windows XP using ant. However, javac can't find package netscape.javascript EVEN THOUGH the classpath DOES INCLUDE plugin.jar. Why? What is the solution for this?

      Here is an excerpt from my command line input/output.

      C:\0_CLIENT>echo %classpath%
      .;C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\lib\plugin.jar

      C:\0_CLIENT>ant jniheaders
      Buildfile: build.xml

      [javac] Compiling 57 source files to C:\0_CLIENT\build\classes
      [javac] C:\0_CLIENT\src\java-src\com\xxxxx.java:10: package netscape.javascript does not exist
      [javac] import netscape.javascript.JSObject;
      [javac] ^

      The file plugin.jar is present in the directory stated in the classpath. This is the correct plugin.jar file and it does contain the classes in package netscape.javascript.

      Why this error message "package netscape.javascript does not exist" when the classpath has been set to include it?
