JSF and the browser back button

843844May 20 2010 — edited May 23 2010
Currently in our JSF webapp the browser back button is working horribly (in fact it destroys the webapp all together since most people use the back button). Client or state saving method both fails.

I've googled this and cannot find any solution anywhere. And the questions are half a decade back.

Is this issue fixed? Does JSF work together with the browser back button or not?

Will we have to rewrite all the fancy jsf pages to simple jsp to get the back button working?

Please help!

Best wishes,
