Which package? And are you sure you haven't downloaded the sources JAR or something?
can you post the error?
Yes, I have downloaded the JAR file from the Jakarta Apache site from the "bin" & not from the "source".
The error looks like this:
]treePanel.java:44: package org.apache.poi.hssf.usermodel does not exist
treePanel.java:45: package org.apache.poi.poifs.filesystem does not exist
include the jar files into your classpath
Were you able to resolve the problem. I am having a similar problem.
I also have added the .jar to classpath.
Can you please tell me how you resolved it
I had this same problem. Using JCreator LEv4 and JDK 1.6.5. I knew something was up, cuz I had carried the program from another computer where it was currently running as I was having the problems, and I had registered the packages with the jdk profile the same way i had done a dozen times before.
For some reason, closing and reopening JCreator solved the problem. As near as I can figure it only updates the classpath on startup shrug. Oh well...dead thread anyways, but if anyone else runs into this problem try that.
