Syslog Alert & Perftool
Apr 21, 2008 1:21 AM
I encounter the following message logs from a clustered Sun server running on Solaris 10.
Apr 21 09:06:03 localhost agent: syslog Apr 21 09:06:54 agent Syntax error in perftool.dat(1) at token '<'
Apr 21 09:06:03 localhost agent: syslog Apr 21 09:06:54 agent *** aborting execution ***
Apr 21 09:06:03 localhost agent: [ID 339938 daemon.alert] syslog Apr 21 09:06:54 agent Syntax error in perftool.dat(1) at token '<'
Apr 21 09:06:03 localhost agent: [ID 810547 daemon.alert] syslog Apr 21 09:06:54 agent *** aborting execution ***
These logs are repeatedly output on the console.
May I know what's is actually causing this, and how to remove these message logs?
