Solaris mount WEBDAVfs | smbfs

807557Mar 22 2007 — edited Mar 23 2007
Hey,
Is it possible to mount a webdav share under solaris 10 or opensolaris?
I'm aware of the cli tools (cadaver, ...) but I'd rather have a more "transparent" way to access the share. Has someone ever tried to implement something along the line of http://dav.sourceforge.net on Solaris? Or knows of similiar projects?

Although it's quite obvious from the docs that the url above references some quite linux-specific code, I tried to build the sources on Solaris with gcc. No success so far (duh) ;).

The ability to mount a smb/cifs share would provide kind of an alternative but on that side it looks quite similiar (no smbfs support in the kernel).

Thanks alot in advance
Robert
