Greetings, I am new to Solaris and currently using Solaris 8. How do I delete a group of users account who are no longer with the group and, assign those accounts to root or, give root access to those account.

Is there a single comand I can use to do this?

Thanks for your assistance

I'm not sure what you're really after. By default root should be able to access any account and theoretically any directory or file. NFS and the automounter tend to cause confusion on that point but other than that root shouldn't have an issue accessing the files. Take a look at the su man page and consider locking the accounts that are no longer necessary. man passwd for that.
