when Trying to install N1 master server I get the followinf error

Checking the integrity of the package.
tail: cannot open `+1' for reading: No such file or directory
Error! This package seems to be corrupted.
Use another copy of the package.
I downloaded the package about 3 times now and copyed it both from the ISO and from the zip file. I can't unzip the GZ file on windows it's always telling me that ther eis a CRC error.
I did modify the /etc/redhat-release file to say Redhat , I tried both version 3 and 4 ...
PS. I am a NOOB with this whole thing so any help would be apreciated.

Afaik CentOS 5 is not supported OS for N1SM
also N1SM is EOLed
the thing you want is called :
xVM Ops Center ( 2.x )
- which is supported on Solaris 10 and RedHat 5 (although I suggest using Solaris)
xing the fingers
It looks like the 'tail' command the script is executing does not understand the +1 option.
Do you have a custom 'tail' installed somewhere ? Or maybe tail on Centos 5 has been changed from
the tail on RH 3 or 4 in incompatible ways.
Can you check PATH in the install script, to see which tail it would find ?
I had a similar problem with tail when installed Remote Agent on RH 5.
tail command changed and you need to replace lines with
"tail +nnnnn" to "tail -n nnnn" or "tail --lines=nnnn"
I also remember having set this:
If the problem is tail command this could help.
