It autodetects OS type and will install Solaris packages or RPMs as appropriate.
I have one X86 Solaris Server configured and installed to be Sun Management Center Server.
successfully i could monitor the Sun Solaris Servers after i have installed the SMC agent on them.
my problem is that i could not install the SMC agent on Red Hat Linux. as i could not find an easy document or steps to do so.
could you guide please?
Thank you so much for your help. i really appreciate this from you.
i will test this tomorrow and let you know the result.
by the way, i have the installation downloaded from the sun download center and not from the media.
i gues this will work.
Unfortunalty, i could install the agent but the agent could not be started.
after i do setup the agent i put the all requested information that i have put on the solaris server, but as this server is linux.
the agent could not be started.
Any comment or help please.
colud you make sure your pkcs11 library is installed ?
