Try also adding the user to the "esops" group within the /etc/group file.
Users that need to effectively use the product and fine-tune its operations, need to be within the esops group.
Let us know if it's still not working after that.

I'm having a similar issue using root account.
More interesting is when I try to use a non-root account, even the login process authenticate.
