I have some third Party like Jboss, ldap, mysql in Solaris 10 OS.
Those third party have an extension *.pkg and i have added in Solaris using the command pkgadd.
I want to installal those third party in Linux System , i asked if its possible to install those package directy in Linux.
Or there is some changes that i must do to regenerate those package?
No sun packages can't be installed in linux, you'll need to find a linux package.
But most linux distributions have a lot of packages available.
RPM for redhat/fedora based systems. Use yum to find one if its a reasonably recent distribution,
Use apt-get on debian or debian descendants like ubuntu.
