How can take Operating System backup in Solaris

Like Hp-UX, make_tape_recovery command can take complete Operating system backup. I want take similar type of backup in solaris. Can anybody suggest on this.

since you specified make_tape_recovery, you're implying that you use ignite to make a bootable tape recovery -
In solaris, we have a disk means of doing that, flarcreate
try a search on bigadmin.sun.com for flar and here's what you get -
you can also look in docs.sun.com for flarcreate - it should yield some examples too -
