In servlet, do we have something like defineObjects of jsp ?
If we call the servlet from portlet page , once the servlet finish the action,
Can the servlet get "actionURL" to go back to portlet page ?
If not, do we have something instead of actionURL ?
Can someone help ?
If we use PortletRequestDispatcher.include method to call servlet (servlet_1.java), once the servlet_1.java finish it's action, can it call
another servlet (servlet_2.java) ? If it is possible, how to call another servlet ?
Can you help ?
we use PortletRequestDispatcher.include method to call the servlet.
In my servlet, I have the following form information,
out.println("<form method=\"post\" action=\"http://abc
out.println("Enter value: ");
out.println("<input type=\"text\" name=\"UserName\" value=\"\"><p>");
out.println("<input type=\"submit\" value=\"Go Back Portlet\"> ");
When user click the submit button,
is the url (action="http://abc
40acce5.3a.com/portal/dt?display=Command) correct ?
if not, what url we should use (the servlet want to pass the control to portlet) ?
Can you help ?

I am developing a portlet application and i am running with the same issue.
I created the portletURL using the way PortletURL url=RenderResonse.createActionURL();
in the portlet page and i set this as a RenderRequest attribute and retrieved it in the servlet as HttpServletRequest attribute, but from there i don't know how to go about.
I dont know how to call the second servlet. Can some one help me in this
