Thank you for your discussion, the problem is am new in linux so i started ubuntu as i read it is the easiest linux release.
I will try to follow the 10.04 thread maybe that will help.

But to avoid misunderstanding, i meant a virtual win xp, am using ubuntu as a main os, does that still works?
