Sending an xml file through HTTP?

      Hi All,

In my web app that i try to build, every content request that made by the user is saved in DB & create the xml file for each request. The xml file is presenting all the information about the request. After that, the xml is sent to another web app, in order to be parsed & processed.
I think that creating xml file if a request is made & send it to another web app r not efficient way. It increases the I/O cost.
Any better way? One thing that u hav to know is i must send all the information of a request in xml format...

      Thx b4...

so what you're asking is "is there a more efficient way of sending XML over HTTP than using XML over HTTP?". no, there isn't

nobody chooses XML for efficiency, btw

It may be worth compressing your XML (using GZIPOutputStream etc.). More CPU, less bandwidth.
