It is possible to force a Java app to stay in portrait mode with the
"Nokia-MIDlet-App-Orientation" JAD attribute on Symbian.
Is there a similar way to do this on Windows mobile?
I am selling my Java app Astral effects on SonyEricsson's playnow portal.
They have tested it on the Windows mobile device "X2". It has to stay in portrait mode
without switching to landscape, for the app to work as it should.
I'm not sure if you can do that in WinMob from a Midlet. However if you have your screens drwan using Canvas, you can always judge the orientation and draw them accordingly to keep it always in portrait mode.
