    Very unusual bug

    Jozis
      Hi,

I am making an application in arabic and trying to create a file upload page. I discovered that when I submit the page with arabic text in a text field, it is converted into some garbage characters, while other applications work fine.
After scratching my head for entire day I found out that when I remove the 'File Browse...' item from the page the problem is gone and arabic text saves properly.
When I put it back, the problem returns.

      Apex listener 1.0.2.238.15.24
I did not observe this behaviour with mod_plsql.

Please, any ideas. I am stuck.

When a form has a file element it is submitted in 'multipart/form-data' format, when it doesn't it will be submitted in 'application/x-www-form-urlencoded' format, so forms with and without file fields are of necessity handled differently by the listener, but nonetheless text should not be getting garbled.

Can you provide a sample form that illustrates the problem?
