I'm trying to cofnigure a watch that will detec a managed server state and send a e-mail notification if the state will turn into (failed, admin etc.). But of course when this server turns into this state the bean is being stopped and this watch doesn't work. If there is any chance to configure this type of watch:
1. Server is in RUNNING state and the notification is not being send.
2. There is a some kind of errror and the server turns into FAILED_NOT_RESTARTABLE state.
3. Watch catch this situation and send an e-mail.
You can configure an MBean Notification Listener as mentioned in the Following Post: http://middlewaremagic.com/weblogic/?p=2077
Above Post demonstrates how to get the Notification as soon as the Any Server present in the Domain changes it's State.
You can add the E-Mail Notification code in the "ServerStateNotification.java" according to your requirement.
