memory tracking of the JVMTI

We are taking an effort to bulid an metering & monitoring system that relevant to
In case of WAS application's memory usage (on the JVM), the JVMPI & JVMTI will be
useful building block of our metering system. And the question i have is about
memory tracking of the JVMPI & JVMTI.
Q1. JVMPI supports notification of an object creation event, but JVMTI doesn't.
There are some reasons?
Q2. Do you have any plan to add an object creation message to JVMTI?
Q3. There are other methods to investigate memory usage of a Java application?
I'm looking forward to your valuable advice on above questions.
