Removing open notifications from worklists
Jan 18, 2011 10:35 AM
Is there a way of closing down old, open notifications from an individual users worklist without going into each one individually?
A user has come back from extended period of absence to hundreds of notifications - cleared down the
via "select all" and open, but this won't work for ones requiring a response
Is there a way to close these notifications down automatically, perhaps even up to a specific date (say 31 Dec 2010)
I have the same question

A side question - in the user's absence, did the workflow/business process stop?
If it did not, maybe the user's approval/notifications are not needed.
Coming back to your question, there is no seeded way to remove the notification. And for just a few hundred notifications, it may not be worth spending time on developing a custom solution.
