          Hi 1603,

There's a great tool at the following link for calculating the benefits and features between the different versions (hyperion_cfo_tool.xls):

          https://support.oracle.com/CSP/main/article?cmd=show&type=NOT&id=1092114.1

Or as Marta Rauch from Oracle described in a recent post,
“The Cumulative Feature Overview Tool provides concise descriptions of new and enhanced solutions and functionality that have become available between starting and target releases. Customers identify the products they own, their existing release, and their target implementation release. With a single click, the tool quickly produces a customized set of high-level, concise descriptions of features developed between their starting and target releases.”

For example if you plug in the HFM version 9.3.1 vs 11.1.1.3 you get:

          1) "Information about system requirements for EPM System products is now available in a spreadsheet format in the Oracle Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management System Certification Matrix. This matrix is posted at
          http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/bi/hyperion-supported-platforms.html
System requirements are no longer part of the Oracle Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management System Installation Start Here. "

          2) "Information about system requirements for EPM System products is now available in a spreadsheet format in the Oracle Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management System Certification Matrix. This matrix is posted at
          http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/bi/hyperion-supported-platforms.html
System requirements are no longer part of the Oracle Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management System Installation Start Here. "

          3) "Users on System

In the Users on System module, administrators can view the list of logged-in users and log out a user in the list. When an administrator logs out a user, a new column displays the current status of the user. In addition, the user who has been logged out is notified immediately following the first user action after logout."

          4) "ERP Integrator

ERP Integration Adapter for Oracle Applications is a module of Oracle Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management that enables you to:
          • Integrate metadata and data from an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) source system into an Oracle Hyperion EPM target application.
          • Drill through from the EPM application and view details in the ERP source system.
ERP Integrator supports general ledger data for:
          • PeopleSoft 9.0
          • Oracle E-Business Suite 11.5.10 CU2
          • Oracle E-Business Suite 12.0.6
          • Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1.1"

          5) "Performance Management Architect

Database administrators can now populate the IM_Load_Info interface table to enable filtering on dimensions and members imported into Performance Management Architect. After it is populated, you can enter a load ID to filter artifacts from the interface tables when you create an import profile or import dimensions. You can also now use the Transaction History Purge Utility to remove transactions from the database and reduce database size. The Batch client includes new commands for working with applications, dimensions, members, and associations."

          6) "Drill-Through in Smart View

If you are connected to Financial Management through Smart View, you can use the drill-through capabilities of Oracle Hyperion Smart View for Office to drill through your Oracle Hyperion Financial Management application to detailed data in Oracle Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management ERP Integration Adapter for Oracle Applications or Oracle Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management data sources. "

          Cool huh?

Sometimes it's hard to find your way around the Oracle | EPMA website because you usually end up getting pointed to somewhere smack-dab-in-the-middle of it, but if you check out the following link - I find it a great starting point for most EPMA material.

          Hope this helps.
