I connect my map with my database and mapviewer, and i can see my base map and some theme.
I want to ask you, can I get coordinates without using javascript and what i need to use if it can?

dvt map tag:

+<dvt:map startingY="11000.0" startingX="411000.0" mapZoom="5"+
mapServerConfigId="TEST" baseMapName="TEST"
inlineStyle="width:100%; height:100.0%;"
+binding="#{backingBeanScope.backing_Home.m1}" id="m1"+
+srid="262148" showScaleBar="true" unit="METERS"+
+autoZoomStrategy="CENTERATZOOMLEVEL"+
+>+

    What specific task you want to do? Are you looking for way to click on a point to get the coordinates?

    Yes, I now that, but I don't want it. I want to get coordinate from map "on click", and save this point like object in oracle spatial db. For examlpe: right click(or left) on map and open some popup menu. In this menu i will choose object type (for example: house, school, substation... ) and this type with coordinate i want to save in db. I saw a lot of tutorials about geting a coordinates, but every of this tutorials are about javascript.
    I want to know, can I do that on the other way, without using javascript? Maybe with adf and its managedbean?
