Archive Log Destination?

User_CCVC9Feb 1 2011 — edited Feb 1 2011
Right now I have three databases running out of one oracle home. I have the archive logs being written to one mount point, which happens to be the same place that backups are written to. I've realized that this is not a good strategy. I'm going to move the archive logs to a different destination, but I don't know if oracle recommends that the archive logs for these databases be written to different mount points? Any advice would be great. Thanks.
