    Weblogic starting error

      when i start my weblogic 10.0 mp2 i am getting following error

          Hi Mithun,

          Step1). Please make sure that you are following the Step6). Editing the "boot.properties" file as described in the following link: http://middlewaremagic.com/weblogic/?p=323

          Step2). Delete/Rename the "data" directory present inside "<DOMAIN_ROOT>\servers\AdminServer" directory

          Step3). Restart your Server. The "data" directory and it's contents will be created automatically.

            Still iam getting same error.i am starting weblogic through my application oracle cc&b. boot file is located in C:\spl\CCBDEMO\splapp\servers\myserver\security location and data folder is located in C:\spl\CCBDEMO\splapp\servers\myserver\data location

              Hi Mithun,

              Please edit this File *"boot.properties"* very carefully….better use Noteopad kind of Simple Editors.

              “dir” Windows Command to Make Sure that the File Extension is “boot.properties” only…and not “boot.properties.txt” or something else.

              Note: There should be No Heading Or Trailing SPACE character or special characters in these two Lines.

                  Thank you for posting the complete Stdout Now i can see that the actual problem is not Invalid "boot.properties" rather it is the following error which is causing this issue:

                      still i am facing same issue. after changing config.xml and i restarted the weblogic server and config.xml is not encrypting password.

                        You can use the weblogic encrypt utility to encrypt the plain text values and copy them to the config.xml file.
