ClientDPI on Windows platforms

I have a Forms 10.1.2.3.0 setup running on Vista. When I change the clientDPI settings on the url, as in:

...&clientDPI=50...

nothing changes in the running form. I have tried settings from 50 to 200, and the font and form layout is the same.

Yet a client user running in a different forms environment on Windows 7 says it changes, both in Internet Explorer and Firefox.

Can someone try this and tell me if it makes a difference for you?

In my copy of C:\oracle\DevSuiteHome_1\forms\server\webutiljpi.htm, there is no clientdpi entry.

In fact, it does not exist in the formsweb.cfg file, either.

In what version of Forms did the clientDPI parameter first appear?

...or is clientDPI a parameter that can ONLY be used on a unix web server, and NOT on a Windows OC4J session?

Steve, you can manually add this parameter in your configuration file.

I have some working configurations (firefox, IE 6,7,8 on XP and Win 7) so this should work.

Edit: Ahh, forgot: Forms version would be 10.1.2.0.2 (my devsuite) and 10.1.2.3 (ias).
