When Presentation server is started, it used 600MB.
When we launch a specific dashboard(which worked perfectly under obiee 10.1.3.4),the sawserver process is running with high memory consumption (more than 12G and system swaps)
Sawserver process increases and the system could no longer provide ressources and the system crashes.
With this problem, we've rolled back to the previous version.
Have you encountered the same problem?
Linux Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.2 (64 bits)
Obiee 188.8.131.52.0 (64 bits)
Did you find any resolution? We are having similar issues with OBIEE 184.108.40.206. We have been working with Oracle for a month now and had no resolution on it. Wondering how all other people who are using this software are not facing this issue? By any chance are your Linux boxes on VMs or on Physical machines? Ours are on VMs and we suspect that is the culprit.

hi...work at a FI in canada and we had saw server crashes on our 11.1.3 install on AIX. We have moved to 11.1.5 with some patches and they have not re-surfaced. I suggest you ask oracle to check their recent patches developed for any canadian FI :)
Hi, can you tell us what patches you took on top of 220.127.116.11? We are seeing the same 18.104.22.168 issues, and Oracle recommends 22.214.171.124, but I see some folks on 126.96.36.199 in these threads still seeing the issues. Thanks!
Oracle has provided some patch, you can hav a luk in metalink..doc id [ID 1378584.1]
The following patches have been recommended to address the issue
1) For memory leak with OPMN Patch:12920592: OPMN HAS MEMORY LEAK Patch:12989751: OPMN MEMORY STILL GAINS AFTER APPLYING PATCH#12920592
