I am having the same exact problem. Were you ever able to resolve this issue?
May I know the procedure/step you are following to install the Hyperion IR Web Client?
- Is it through Workspace >> Tools Menu >> Install >> Interactive Reporting Web Client?
- Or directly from the Zeroadmin folder from the IR Server?
If you are having problem, installing it from Workspace, then you can try copying the zeroadmin folder from the IR Server and have it over the Shared network folder. Run the setupie.bat (If using IE) or setupff.bat (If using, Firefox) to install it manually.

My case was “install through the Workspace”.
I could not find the cause, but needed to find any workaround soon.
The workaround was “Copy the install image from the server and kick the setup command”.
