    Data Loader not working

    841683
      Hi,
      I am having some problem in executing data loader. The data loader executable is giving a error while executing. It is throwing host url is null exception. Can any body has any solution for this problem. Please help me out.

      For ease of analysing of the error I am providing the log file the application builds. The log file reads as --

          Is that for CRMOD? You may want to post in another forum.

            You should post this in the CRM On Demand forum.

            Are you using a trial account? Not sure if you can test data loader with a trial account. Your url doesn't look right. Try using just https://sso.crmondemand.com in your OracleDataLoaderOnDemand.config file

            hosturl=https://sso.crmondemand.com

              Hi,
              yes I am using CRMOD trial version.

              Thanx for your suggestion. But with that url also it is giving the same error. I think the problem is that it's not taking the url from config file. As
              you can find out from the log file entry extracts i am providing below -

              [2011-02-24 18:00:31,948] DEBUG - [main] BulkOpsClientUtil.determineWSHostURL(): Host URL from config file=null

                Hi

                Please open the .config file and you need to have ONLY the following entry:

                testmode=debug
                url=<the POD you are using>

                Regards

                Paul
