JAVA code required to check if a network is secure enough to communicate

    842094
I am trying to initiate communication between 2 processes available on two different machines. The communication can be initiated only if the network is secure.

Can anybody help me with some JAVA code which can jsut check if the network is secure?

When you say 'secure' - what aspects of [url http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Information_security#Key_concepts]security ^[url http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Information_security#Key_concepts]wiki^ are you looking at?
A network typically has no inherent built-in security, security is added by the protocol ( [url http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transport_Layer_Security]ssl ^[url http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transport_Layer_Security]wiki^ ) you use on the network.

This is back to front. One makes the communication protocol secure so that that the security of the channel is irrelevant. Secure communication can usually best be achieved using SSL with both client and server authentication.
