read windows binary files
Feb 24, 2011 1:16 PM
Our company have been receving the binary data (filename.BIN) files only avaible for Windows.
Even though Linux and Windows are both little endian I can't read them directly. If I do I receive the following messages.
Error 1010: record too long
I also tried to compile the Fortran program with the option "-xfilebeyeorder=little4:inputfile " or "-xfilebeyeorder=little16:inputfile " and received the same erro message.
Have tried many things no of which worked.
Really appreciate for your help or suggestions.
