Maintenance wizard can not directly upgrade you to 12.1.3. You must first upgrade to 12.1.1 then create another project to upgrade the 12.1.1 to 12.1.2 - currently Maintenance Wizard is not equipped to upgrade to 12.1.3 we are tooling that release now.
I would suggest that you do your R12.1.1 installation how you want it and then configure the R12 portions of Maintenance Wizard using the same autoconfig option you used for the Release 11i setup.
Thanks for your kind reply. Regarding the point 2, i've read R12 concepts guide and it seems to me that there is some 'norms/rules' about the folder distribution like:
apps/tech_st/10.1.2 or apps/apps_st/appl
So i suppose that i cannot specify any folder structure ? and there is best practices for that ?
I have a related question on when to apply 12.1.3 manually. I would prefer not to complete the entire R12.2.1 upgrade steps in the Wizard before applying 12.1.3. Isn't there some point in the 12.2.1 wizard where you would stop, apply 12.1.3, and then come back to finishing tasks? I'm assuming at some point just after bringing up the 12.1.1 and letting it run its concurrent requests, etc. Example: I don't think I would stop if doing this manually and configure pdf printing and stuff like that until I was already at 12.1.3.
For best results I recommend using the filesystem structure delivered out of the box.
You can not begin the 12.1.3 or 12.1.2 upgrade until you have completed the 12.1.1 upgrade in its entirety. This is documented in the upgrade manuals. If you want to go to 12.1.3 then after completing your 12.1.1 upgrade please follow all the steps in note 1080973.1 to apply the 12.1.3 Rollup patch.
