SQL Worksheet Query Result window show/hide hotkey?

845731Mar 8 2011 — edited Mar 9 2011
I am new to using SQL Developer (v. 2.1) and am unable to find a keyboard shortcut or hotkey that allows me to show/hide the Query Results tab. I'm assuming its possible, am I wrong?

Thanks for the help!

Hi!

As I remember, the shortcut was CTRL+ALT+L Another option is to navigate from text area in Worksheet to the results grid (CTRL+TAB TAB) then hit F8 and resize the grid using arrows (up, down), then return to text area using CTRL+TAB CTRL+TAB TAB) (these are key combinations that work on Linux - Gnome environment, maybe there is some other shortcut)

I really wish SQL developer team tried to use the their product WITHOUT a mouse - just put the mouse away (behind the monitor) and try to do some REAL work! You will be screaming in frustration in less then 3 minutes!!! Half of the defined shortcut keys don't work. Others get you to a point where you have to grab for the mouse:
- you get the focusless describe window by pressing the SHIFT+F4 for Popup Describe, you can not navigate to it by keyboard to close it. It is not even listed in open windows list (get it by ALT+0)

- open the log window by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+L, then close it by ALT-MINUS C and then try to navigate back to the worksheet or wherever inside SQL developer, you can't get focus anywhere by keyboard. Even menus don't work (for example ALT+F for file menu)

This is true also for EA3 on Gnome.

Answer
Have focus in worksheet's results tab.
Hit F8.
Use Home/End or Up/Down arrow key to move the splitter.
