Will a StorEdge X6893A drive work in a Sun Blade 2000?

A X6893A drive is a StorEdge drive (73.4GB FC-AL 15k). I am wondering if there is any reason if this drive would not work in a Sun Blade 2000? Also compatible with a 280R.

          Hi.
          You will have next problems:

1). X6893A - disk for Array 6020/6120. And have bracket not compatible with SB2000/ SF280R
SB2000 and SF280R -internaly very similar system and have same disk.
You can try found original disk bracket for SB2000 and replace it. In this case, you possible will have another problem.

          2) When disk 15k RPM was introduced, notice that they have more high rate of single error and not used without RAID.
          3) This disk not sertified for SB2000/SF280R, so not tested about power an cooling compatiblilty.

          TOTAL:
If You replace bracket- this disk will work in SB2000, but nobody can say how long.

          Regards.
