    Node manager to start Admin server & managed server for single/multiple dom

      Hello,

      I configured 2 domains and I need my node manager to start the admin server and managed servers of 2 domains. What steps do I need to take to achieve this ?

          Which version of weblogic you are running on?
          is it on Windows or Unix??
          the managed servers are on different boxes/machines or same?
          And just to clear it, the two domains are totally independent means they have their own Admin server, managed server and all other things you are not mixing them up.

            Which version of weblogic you are running on? - *11g*
            is it on Windows or Unix?? - Windows
            the managed servers are on different boxes/machines or same? - Same Physical Machine
            And just to clear it, the two domains are totally independent means they have their own Admin server, managed server and all other things you are not mixing them up. - one domian has one admin server and 2 managed servers and the other domain has admin server as the managed server

              nodemanager should be running on each node. you can write wlst script for starting admin and managed server

              start('managedServerName','Server')

                  here is script i am using for my servers. you would need to modify paths and names as per your setup.

                  #!/bin/sh

                  echo "###########################"
                  echo "# Setting SOA Environment #"
                  echo "###########################"
                  export MW_HOME=/home/mwuser/fusionmw
                  export WL_HOME=$MW_HOME/wlserver_10.3
                  export ORACLE_HOME=$MW_HOME/ORACLE_SOA
                  export DOMAIN_NAME=domain_name
                  export DOMAIN_HOME=$MW_HOME/user_projects/domains/$DOMAIN_NAME

                  cd $DOMAIN_HOME
                  echo "#########################"
                  echo "# Starting Node Manager #"
                  echo "#########################"
                  nohup $WL_HOME/server/bin/startNodeManager.sh >logs/NodeManager.out 2>&1 &

                  echo "#########################"
                  echo "# Starting Admin Server #"
                  echo "#########################"
                  nohup ./startWebLogic.sh >logs/AdminServer.out 2>&1 &

                  $ORACLE_HOME/common/bin/wlst.sh <<-EOF
                  import time
                  sleep=time.sleep
                  print "#####################################"
                  print "# Waiting for Admin Server to Start #"
                  print "#####################################"
                  while True:
                  try:
                  connect('weblogic','welcome1','t3://admin_hostname:admin_port')
                  break
                  except:
                  sleep(10)

                  print "#######################"
                  print "# Starting SOA Server #"
                  print "#######################"
                  start(name="SOA_server_name", block="true")

                  print "#######################"
                  print "# Starting BAM Server #"
                  print "#######################"
                  start(name="bam_server_name", block="true")
                  EOF

                  echo "#####################"
                  echo "# SOA Suite Started #"
                  echo "#####################"

                  read -p "Hit <enter> to continue"

                    hi you need to run wlst script every time but you can edit
                    wlscontrol.sh under common/bin keep the paameters correct as doman home and u can start by these command

                    ./wlscontrol.sh -d /opt/wls/user_projects/domains/PROD -c -f /opt/wls/user_projects/domains/PROD/bin/startWebLogic.sh -s AdminServer START
