I can't run Managed Server: <BEA-000362>

mónica
    Hello,

I am trying to run the managed server from command line:
    C:\Oracle\Middleware\wlserver_10.3\common\bin>startManagedWebLogic.cmd WCAdminServer http://localhost:7020/console

But I can't because I have the following error:
    <29-mar-2011 09H58' CEST> <Info> <Security> <BEA-090065> <Getting boot identity from user.>
Enter username to boot WebLogic server:weblogic
Enter password to boot WebLogic server:
    <29-mar-2011 09H58' CEST> <Info> <Management> <BEA-141107> <Version: WebLogic Server 10.3.4.0 Fri Dec 17 20:47:33 PST 2010 1384255 >
    *<29-mar-2011 09H58' CEST> <Critical> <WebLogicServer> <BEA-000362> <Server failed. Reason: [Management:141266]Parsing Failure in config.xml:*
    java.lang.Assertion Error: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException:com.bea.wcp.sip.management.descriptor.beans.SipServerBean>
    <29-mar-2011 09H58' CEST> <Notice> <WebLogicServer> <BEA-000365> <Serverstate changed to FAILED>
    <29-mar-2011 09H58' CEST> <Error> <WebLogicServer> <BEA-000383> <Acritical service failed. The server will shut itself down>
    <29-mar-2011 09H58' CEST> <Notice> <WebLogicServer> <BEA-000365> <Serverstate changed to FORCE_SHUTTING_DOWN>

How can I solve the problem? I think that the problem is to find the class com.bea.wcp.sip.management.descriptor.beans.SipServerBean, but I don't know the JAR and where I have to add it.

On the other hand, I have modified nodemanager.properties file to change StartScriptEnabled=true instead of the default false. But it doesn't work.

    Regards,

    Mónica.

        Hi Monica,

First thing you are trying to start Managed Server from a Wrong Directory (C:\Oracle\Middleware\wlserver_10.3\common\bin).

Make sure that you create a Domain First, Then create Managed Server and then try to start the Managed Server from inside the "<DOMAIN_HOME>\bin" directory.
        Example:
        C:\bea103\user_projects\domains\Test_Domain\bin> startManagedWebLogic.cmd MyManagedServer

To Create a WebLogic Domain you can download the following PDF which has the complete screenshot of doing the same :
        http://blogs.oracle.com/learnwithpavan/mydocs/weblogic/Creating%20a%20new%20Weblogic%20Domain.pdf
