Oracle VM licensing

mzpApr 7 2011 — edited Apr 7 2011
Hi,
I'd like to setup a server that will serve as yum repository for all the Oracle Linux servers in my environment. I have a couple of questions regarding the licensing
1. Does the "satellite" server require a specific license or will a regular Oracle Linux license work?
2. Do i have to register each client server in the environment on the ULN or just the satellite?
3. I've saved the weirdest one for last. Say I want 10 servers and I buy 10 licenses. But I do not register all 10 on the ULN, will I still get support if I have an issue with one(that is not registered)

Thanks
Melzer

Access to the support repository is not free. You need a valid support contract in order to have access to it.

This is one of the benefits of
