Any experiences (real world ?) with Peoplesoft and EPM applications on Exadata ?
I've see the MAA WhitePaper which covers Peoplesoft on Exadata v2 and includes a Peoplesoft HR-Payroll Test Case (not Benchmark).
However, I am interested in real world experiences with, say, Financials or Analytics.

We have a client using Peoplesoft on Exadata. We have been disengaged from the project since the original installation / configuration / migration stage, so I don't have much to offer at this point. But we are supposed to go back and do a health check / performance review of the system in the next week or two. I should be able to provide some "sanitized" feedback after that.
Well I did get to go back to do a review on the system I mentioned only to find that they are not using the system. The sys admin that logged us on to the system was a little surprised since he thought it was in production. But in a 24 hour period there was only a couple of minutes of DB time. So that one was a bust. We have another customer where we've set up development and test environments and they are in the process of testing. They don't expect to go live for a few months, but have been doing some testing. I did look at a few AWR reports from that system last week but there was not a huge amount of activity on that yet either. It should be rampping up pretty quickly though. Maybe in the next week or two I'll have more to share. I did see one statement on that system that took over 30 minutes (I'm guessing it wasn't doing smart scans since the AWR report showed a lot of direct path read wait events). But AWR doesn't show that kind of detail for an individual statement. I am expecting that it will take a little tweaking on long running queries due to lot's of indexes. I'll provide more info as it becomes available.
