First try to upgrade Opatch to last version 10.2.0.5
sb92075
oracle.rdbms.rsf, 10.2.0.4.0 ] not present in the Oracle Home
Oracle s/w needs to be at V10.2.0.4 before applying the patch
The patch you tried to apply should be applied on top of 10.2.0.4.0, you have 10.2.0.1.0. First apply the 10.2.0.4 patchset, then apply the one-off. Or better yet skip all the way to 10.2.0.5.

Do you mean I should down load software 10.2.0.4.0 and install by using OUI installer ?

My Inventory path as below:

Since V10 is no longer fully supported, I recommend that you install V11.2 & use it.

I don't quite understand. Do you mean I need to upgrade to 10.2.0.4 then do the patch?

You should review the README file in the patch zip file and besure you have the correct database install.
You may also need to upgrade your OPatch as well it is too lower of verison.

On WINDOWS the location is usually C:\Program Files\Oracle...

Hello,
You need to upgrade to 10.2.0.4.0, after that you can apply the patch.

To upgrade from 10.2.0.1 to 10.2.0.4 the patchset number is Patch 6810189

check Quick Reference For Patchset Numbers/Availability And Download [ID 554256.1] in the metalink.
Also, I would recommand to backup your whole database including control file, spfile etc... before doing any patch.

Good luck!

How to get there MOS ? Would you please provide a link? Thanks
You must use the OPatch utility release 10.2.0.4.3 or later. You can download it from Oracle Metalink.

Ensure that your Oracle Database installation is the same release for which you are applying this patch. In other words, only apply the Release 10.2.0.4 Bundle patch to an Oracle Database Release 10.2.0.4.

The link was already provided. Why you don't just read the doc?

Skip 10.2.0.4 and patch to 10.2.0.5 while you still can. Download the 10.2.0.5 patchset from MOS and follow the instructions. Then download and install current OPatch and then download and apply current patch bundle on top of 10.2.0.5.
